Chengdu Century New Town International Convention and Exhibition Center

The Chengdu Century New Town International Convention and Exhibition Center is located in the southern new district of Chengdu. The entire project is divided into five major areas: exhibition area, international conference area, hotel and cultural facilities area, business office area, commercial residential area, with a total construction area of approximately 1.73 million square meters. “Century City” is located within the southern new district, west of the Tianfu Avenue which extends from Renmin South Road, north of the main road of Chengdu's outer ring line, with excellent transportation conditions. In addition to the Tianfu Avenue, the Hongxing Road South Extension Line will be built directly to Century City. The Fu Nan River flows past the east side; the north side is bordered by Century Park and a golf course; the east and west sides are riverside green spaces.

 “Century City” is divided into five functional zones. The exhibition hall area is on the east side, with exhibition halls spreading fan-like towards the Fu Nan River, totaling 17 large and small exhibition halls, covering an area of 120,000 square meters. The Chengdu Century New Town International Convention and Exhibition Center is currently the largest convention and exhibition center in western China in terms of building scale, complete supporting facilities, and advanced facilities. The brand new first-class exhibition hall is bound to bring better trade platforms to exhibitions. The exhibition hall area is located in the eastern part of Century City, with nine leaf-shaped exhibition halls spreading fan-like towards the Fu Nan River, symbolizing Chengdu's long-standing and profound culture. The 110,000 square meter exhibition hall combines the practicality of German exhibition halls and the exquisite beauty of Japanese exhibition halls. The exhibition hall adopts a column-free single-story structure, with a maximum net height of 21 meters and a minimum of 12 meters, which can be described as a perfect combination of art and technology. The main hall has an area of 11,000 square meters, while the connecting hall has an area of 800 square meters. The fan-like spread of the exhibition hall ensures that each exhibition hall and each booth have equally good "port locations". At the same time, the exhibition hall is also endowed with multiple functions, which can be merged together to meet the needs of various large-scale exhibitions, or it can be divided to hold activities such as large meetings, concerts, sports events, etc. The road design in the exhibition hall area is also very thoughtful, all large vehicles transporting exhibition items arrive at the back of each exhibition hall from the side of Century City to ensure the cleanliness of Century City. “Century City” also plans for 10,000 above-ground and underground parking spaces for future conferences and exhibitions. There are 28 meeting rooms, with the largest meeting room measuring 65m x 40m, a height of 14m, an area of 2,730 sqm, and column-free. Other meeting rooms can meet the needs of different conferences ranging from 12 to 3,000 people, equipped with simultaneous interpretation equipment in multiple languages, advanced audio, visual equipment, high-speed network, etc.
