Nanjing International Expo Center

The Nanjing International Expo Center has a floor area of 360,000 square meters, including an exhibition area of 170,000 square meters with a total of 6,000 international standard booths, an outdoor exhibition area of 30,000 square meters, and 2,500 parking spaces. The conference center includes a 5,000-square-meter multi-functional hall, an 800-seat lecture hall, 20 meeting rooms of various sizes, 19 restaurants of different styles, and a 4-star international hotel with 500 guest rooms. Other supporting facilities include an economical hotel with 240 guest rooms, and 8,200 square meters of office service facilities.

All six pavilions at the Nanjing International Expo Center have only one floor, but each pavilion has an exhibition area of 12,000 square meters, measuring 162 meters in length and 72 meters in width, with a net height ranging from 14 to 22 meters. This size is larger than the standard football field specified by FIFA, which measures 105 meters in length and 68 meters in width. There are no columns inside the exhibition halls. The management claims that the flat layout and large space design of the expo center cater to the characteristics of modern exhibitions – they can freely divide the space while also facilitating the loading and installation of large equipment, especially mechanical and mold products.

The well-equipped conference function is another feature of the Nanjing International Expo Center. Its conference center boasts a 5,000-square-meter multi-functional hall, a grand banquet hall for 1,000 people, and an 800-seat large lecture hall, all equipped with advanced building intelligent systems such as network communication technology, wireless internet, satellite and cable TV reception, public broadcasting, background music, multi-functional conference systems, and integrated intelligent systems. The conference center also features nearly 20 meeting rooms ranging from 120 to 150 square meters. Reporters saw that the 800-seat lecture hall resembles a luxurious 'private room', with brown-yellow wooden panels harmoniously paired with white walls and tiles. The lecture hall supports simultaneous interpretation in six languages.
